Terms and Conditions – Steam Theory Cleaners

Welcome to Steam Theory Cleaners. By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Service Limitations

While we handle all garments with the utmost care, Steam Theory Cleaners is not liable for normal wear and tear, color fading, shrinkage, or damage resulting from inherent weaknesses in fabrics, dyes, or accessories (e.g., buttons, zippers, beads).

2. Lost or Damaged Items

 • In the rare event of loss or damage directly caused by our process, compensation will be limited to a maximum of 10 times the cleaning charge of the item, and not to exceed its fair market value.

 • Proof of purchase or value may be required.

3. Garment Identification

Customers must ensure that all garments are properly labeled and that pockets are emptied. Steam Theory Cleaners is not responsible for items left in pockets (e.g., money, jewelry, electronics, pens).

4. Pick-up & Delivery

 • We offer pick-up and delivery services as a convenience.

 • Steam Theory Cleaners is not liable for garments left unattended for pick-up or drop-off at the customer’s location.

 • Customers are responsible for providing secure drop-off instructions if no one will be present.

5. Unclaimed Garments

Garments not claimed within 90 days will be considered abandoned and may be donated or disposed of at our discretion.

6. Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of service or upon delivery. We accept major credit cards and other approved payment methods.

7. Alterations & Tailoring

All alteration and tailoring work is final. Steam Theory Cleaners is not responsible for changes requested after completion.

8. Force Majeure

Steam Theory Cleaners is not liable for delays or service interruptions caused by events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, transportation failures, power outages).
